Mayawati waves off tax to F1

Mayawati exempts F1 organisers from paying tax! Any vested interest for her? Or is she offering sops for the development of the sport?
Does the grand & pompous show burning several crore deserve any such aid & help form the state govt? There are still  many seriously questioning and challenging the rationale behind such a lot of 'waste' of scarce fossil fuel besides exposure to possible loss of life / limb and the machine. 
Is this sport really contributing anything meaningfully to the development of the auto industry by proving something  that cannot be done without this pomp & splendour?
These are some of the questions raised by the not so favourables to the sport.


It should be interesting to watch how UP Govt is going to react to the notice of the Supreme Court and what is actually going to come out of this!


Last straw! A common man pays tax even to see an age old movie from the cheapest seat in an unbearably bad ambience!! Poor guy gets no respite. Ha the rich richer and the poor poorer seem to have caught on well in India too.
