The attack on Bhushan indeed calls for strong and unconditional condemnation. The attackers have done no good to either the Hindus or the Hindutva advocates.Nor would the cause be served in any way by this mindless barbaric act.The attackers set bad precedent and bring bad repute to themselves, the community they claim to represent and the nation as a whole. How could such acts of taking law into one's own hand that too within the sacred precincts of justice be tolerated?
There are of course chances of any other forces too inimical to Bhushan acting in such atrocious manner and cleverly pretending to be from the Ramsena, sort of killing hitting two mangoes with one stone. Ramsena - what a name?! Ram, as many of us have read and heard, always stood for peace, dignity, justice among several other fine qualities. At one stage in the Ramayana, it is stated that Ram had valiantly fought with Ravana and disarmed him completely. While taking pity on him and at the same time respecting his enemy, Ram stuck to the principle of not attacking an unarmed man and hence told him to come the next day fully armed! Is it possible for those who claim to be the followers of Ram to attack a man just because he differed in his views over a particular issue?
