THE QUESTIONS WITHIN!!



The present Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee raises issues and questions the role of the former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, who is presently the Home Minister. Interestingly when Pc was the Finance Minister, Mukherjee was the Home Minister! The role of the PMO and that of the previous finance minister has been questioned and aspersions cast a few times by several including Raja & Kanimozhi, the two of the prime accused!


However, Pranab Mukherjee opening the pandora's box at the time when the Supreme Court brings PC's invloment into investigation is little intriguing. Is he  honestly trying to nail the corrupt or taking advantage of the plight of his colleague to gain one up on him or is he being 'holier than thou'!

    The latest news is that the cabinet is not considering the note of Pranab, the FM!! It is clarified that it is one thing to see and another thing to approve the note. Obviously the congress party would not like to add one more to the tainted list of ministers as you have said earlier. All said and done they have to keep an eye on the next election which is not too far off.
